COMMITMENT TO CLIMATE CHANGE
The Promigas climate strategy has been structured along 4 lines that define our actions in the face of the challenge of climate change and its main objectives: to understand the potential effects of climate on our businesses and the geographies in which we operate, to adequately manage our impacts, as well as the possible climate risks, and to identify and take advantage of the opportunities arising from the energy transition. This is supported by a clear and transparent governance and communications strategy to ensure and inform our climate management.
AWe are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our business portfolio and the activities we carry out, as well as to adapting our infrastructure to climate events, raising awareness among stakeholders of the challenges posed by climate change, and seeking new growth opportunities that will allow us to consolidate a sustainable company.
To achieve this, our commitment is to periodically review and update the Climate Strategy of PROMIGAS and its related companies. For this purpose, we are committed to the development of an action plan that: (1) allows us to achieve the objectives set forth in stated strategy, (2) defines goals based on scientific and industry studies, and their verification mechanisms, and (3) commits Promigas and its related companies. We will report on the progress of this plan through our institutional channels such as our annual Integrated Management Report.
