Quality policy

Being conscious of the importance of customer satisfaction and the responsibility assumed by the laboratory during service delivery, the Metrology Laboratory Management Committee has defined the following policy with respect to quality.

“At the Metrology Laboratory, we regard quality as a total commitment to customer satisfaction.  In all our actions and decisions, the customer is clearly the reason for our work and motivates us to improve constantly.

We guarantee this commitment to quality by:

  • Calibrating instruments according to the procedures of the Metrology Laboratory and applicable technical standards, using patterns with known national and international traceability to ensure highly reliable results.

  • Delivering calibration results on or before the deadline established with the customer.

  • Working as a team to constantly maintain and improve our quality management system by encouraging development and exchange of technology with our internal and external customers and other accredited laboratories in the magnitudes the Promigas laboratory is equipped to handle.

One of the priorities of the Laboratory Management Committee is to provide the technical, human and logistic resources needed to comply with NTC-ISO-IEC 17025, and review regulary the effectiveness of the laboratory considering our quality objectives. All staff members are required to observe and enforce the quality manual, the procedures, and the policy on ethics and conflicts of interest.

We hope that quality service, customer satisfaction, and the application of this policy will make our name synonymous with quality, compliance and reliability.

This document is the blueprint for quality at the laboratory and the basis for making sure that all calibration activities comply with ISO IEC 17025, in addition to satisfying the needs of our customers and meeting the terms set by regulatory agencies that extend recognition, such as the Superintendent of Industry and Commerce.
