The country's transmission infrastructure consists of approximately 7,000 km. of gas pipelines, of which 2,680 belong to Promigas and its subsidiaries.

Promigas currently transmits 44% of the country's natural gas supply through its system. Its total transmission capacity is 737 Mcfd (Million cubic feet per day).
