To diversify our portfolio and to use the company’s strengths to develop new business, we entered the telecommunications sector in 2001 with the establishment of Promigas Telecomunicaciones.

Promigas Telecomunicaciones

The company is a metropolitan carrier for telecommunications operators and uses one of the most modern fiber optic networks in the country. It includes  174 km of trunk fiber and 270 km of last-mile fiber, with more than 3,000  links.

Promigas Telecomunicaciones has 82 per cent of the market in Barranquilla and Cartagena and recently started operations in Bucaramanga and Cali.
