Barranquilla, March 27, 2008
Promigas’ annual report shows important accomplishments nationwide and internationally. The company continued to expand its interest in operations in other Latin American countries. As a direct investor, it purchased 40% of Cálidda, a natural gas distribution company in Lima, Peru. With respect to companies in which Promigas has controlling interest, Organización Terpel entered the market in Panama and Chile, and Gazel consolidated its operations in Peru, Mexico and Chile.

As always, after reviewing Promigas accomplishments in 2006, the President of the company, Mr. Antonio Celia, commented on the economic outlook for Colombia and worldwide. With respect to Colombia, he noted: “Investor and consumer confidence has increased, thanks to a general economic stability and action taken by the State, as evidenced by an increase in both household and consumption exports. Purchases of durable goods obtained an unprecedented increase during the past year.”

| Promigas in Peru |
| Promigas and Ashmore Energy International signed an agreement to acquire 100 % interest in Cálidda, a natural gas distribution company in Lima and Callao that belongs to Suez-Tractebel and Energía del Sur S.A. Promigas will have 40% of the shares and Ashmore Energy International (AEI), the other 60%.
