Development and consolidation of the use of natural gas in the automotive sector was accomplished through our investment in Gazel. This company is a logical and natural extension of our business experience. It became an independent firm in 2000, after having operated for 14 years as a division of Promigas.

In 2005, we launched a new line of business on international markets with the construction of natural gas automotive service stations in Peru, through an alliance between Pecsa and Gazel. Recently this company entered the market in Mexico and Chile.

The business know-how and expertise transferred by Promigas and Gazel, in addition to the exportation of Colombian technology, is helping to develop the economies of other Latin American countries and to improve the environment worldwide.
