Natural Gas Transmission

Promigas moves natural gas through our own pipeline system, from deposits in the region of La Guajira region to the Jobo terminal station in the department of Sucre. the system has a maximum transmission capacity of 455.6 MSCFD.

During the year 2005, Promigas moved 50% of the natural gas transmitted throughout Colombia.

Promigas Customers for Natural Gas Transmission
Natural gas transmission service is provided to major consumers of this fuel; that is, to customers who require more than 100 thousand cubic feet a day, per delivery site. These large consumers include thermoelectric plants, local distribution companies, cement companies, petrochemical firms and mining operations.
